-What is the majority age range of the people you serve?
Their is a wide range because there are many services that are catered to different age ranges. However, they serve more adults than anything.
-What percentage of the people that benefit from your services are from champaign Il
Though we serve 5 counties, champaign is the largest county that we serve, I would estimate a few thousand a year.
-Is this a free service?
Yes. However, for equipment loaning, you usually have to be a member and that fee is 15 dollars a year. But if you cannot afford it, that fee is waved.

PACE Philosophy
Persons assuming control of their environment offers services, which assist persons with disabilities in achieving and/or maintaining independence. Our goal is full participation in the rights and responsibilities of society for persons with disabilities.
PACE Service
Pace offers services to all persons who have disabilities in its 5 county service area: Champaign Douglas, Edgar, Piatt and Vermilillion. They also offer services to the family and friends of individuals experiencing disability. Pace also provides referral services to persons not living within the five county service area.
Funding
Pace is a private not-for-profit organization and is supported by contracts through the Department of Rehabilitation Services, donations, membership, and fundraising. Donations made to Pace are tax deductible.
Volunteers
PACE receives a great deal of support from people interested in a variety of areas. Volunteer placement is available in the following areas or any area of interest in which you wish to offer your gift of expertise or time.

- Readers/Writers for people with disabilities
- Computer/Data Entry
- Clerical Support
- Telephone Receptionist Support
- Committee Work-Public Relations
